Kevin Colborne, founder of MycoFlow Systems

MycoFlow takes its name from mycelium, the fine fungal networks that spread through soil largely out of sight. We don't treat it as a blueprint. It is a reminder that the outcomes people notice depend on connections they rarely see.

Organisations work the same way. A dashboard is the visible tip of a much larger system of definitions, processes, ownership and technical dependencies. When that hidden layer is unclear, teams end up with plenty of reports and very little agreement. Our work is making that layer visible, then making it dependable.

MycoFlow was founded by Kevin Colborne, a data and analytics leader with over a decade of experience in data driven transformation across employability and public services. That shapes how we work: governance built into everyday engineering rather than filed as paperwork, definitions agreed with the people who understand the operational reality, and systems documented well enough that they don't depend on one person's memory.

Independent bakery Direct + wholesale

A platform that runs itself

The Crumb Cartel sells direct to customers and to cafés and shops buying in bulk. Two audiences, two shapes of order, one business. We designed a single platform where retail browsing and wholesale accounts coexist, with automated approvals, minimum order rules, packaging variants, and payments. No spreadsheets, no chasing. New ideas keep slotting into what is already there.

Everything feels like it's becoming less human at the moment. This was the opposite. We built it together, at the pace that suited us.
